Kenosha Wedding Photographer :: Rachel & Erik are Married!!

Last December, I replied to a request for a photographer, shortly after I received a phone call from a very calm, very cool Rachel. She simply stated "I want to book with you, how do I do it?" I LOVE clients like that! They know what they want and make no bones about it!

We spoke a bit over the phone about the plans that she had, and next thing you know, we were partnered to make her wedding day memorable. :)

Rachel & Erik met working together third shift at Walmart, they were instant friends and later became inseparable. The best quote of the day was from Rachel when she said "He truly is my BEST friend and I can't wait to marry him." *swoon* How can that not melt your heart?  Isn't that what everyone wants?

Erik stood by the cart path to the 10th tee at Scenic View Country Club in Slinger, WI awaiting his bride so that he could walk her to the altar himself. It was a beautiful sight to see, as they smiled and shared some words between just them; winding through the trees before approaching their guests and then ultimately the ceremony.

Rain was in the forecast, but we weren't having that! The clouds dispersed and the sun shine greeted us throughout the ceremony and for photos afterwards.

During the ceremony, Rachel & Erik placed love letters to eachother in a box so that they can open them up on their one year anniversary and read what the other wrote. I love this idea!

The festivities continued as these two danced the night away, starting with Etta James' At Last then Erik & Rachel snuck off to Florida the next day for their honeymoon.

Kenosha Wedding Photographer :: Kathy & Larry get married!

I first met these two back in February, and I'm so thankful that they chose me to be a part of their special day!
In his spare time, Larry is a clown (hence the shoes), so you can imagine how incredibly infectious his smile is, not to mention how much fun the two of them have together.
I loved everything about this wedding...

How Larry can't stop staring and smiling at her,
How Larry shed a tear as she walked down the aisle, but didn't stop smiling the entire time,
How the two of them stood on stage and sang along to "All of Me" by John Legend,
How they both threw their arms up in the air after the ceremony without any prompting from anyone, they did it simply because they were so incredibly joyful,
The quaint luncheon at Casa Capri afterwards,
and that one of the 'must have' photos was with their dog in their backyard after the reception.

It was a day full of family and friends and a whole ton of love and happiness.

April and Jason planned a romantic ceremony in Wisconsin Dells last week-end and they were blessed with perfect weather!

There was a car show in town, so the day was filled with revving engines and spectacular cars driving up and down River Rd, but that didn't bother these two one bit.  Jason has his own love for cars, and was proud to show off his totally awesome Camaro - which by the was was the special Bumblebee edition from Transformers. Badass car for a badass couple!

The ceremony & reception was held at The Riverwalk Pub and the couple stayed in the Master Suite across the way at the White Rose Inn which has a beautiful victorian style house providing great photo ops!

I didn't have a chance to meet these two before the big day, but that didn't stop us from becoming instant friends and making some great memories for them to look back on for many years to come!
